When Mister Rogers' friend was young, he was criticized by an adult for making a blue tree; but he later learned that artists can use any shapes and colors they want. Using Picture-Picture, Mister Rogers shares a variety of famous paintings. Back at the house, Mister Rogers sits at the bench to read Spot's Baby Sister, a book by Eric Hill. Mister Rogers invites viewers along as he visits Mr. Hill's studio. Mr. Hill talks about the process of creating one of his books and demonstrates how he draws and paints his characters.
